Takayama paintings anchor group exhibition at Santa Fe gallery

Several Michio Takayama landscape paintings–both oil on linen and mixed media and paper–are included in a group exhibition entitled Abstracted Landscapes at the David Richard Contemporary Gallery in Santa Fe, July 26-August, 2012.

Other artists represented in the exhibition include fellow Taos Modern artists Beatrice Mandelman and Louis Ribak.

The David Richard Contemporary has two galleries. This exhibition is at the downtown location, near the plaza. 130 Lincoln Avenue, Suite D, Santa Fe. 10am-5pm, Tuesday – Saturday, or by appointment. 505-982-0318.

Michio Takayama (1903-1994) was committed to his art first and foremost. He expressed his vision of both inner beauty and physical majesty in richly-layered, vibrant abstract paintings.
